Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The 3Ps Tour and Travel! We are committed to providing you with exceptional travel experiences across East Africa. Before booking your safari, please read our terms and conditions carefully. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Payment Terms

To confirm your booking, a deposit of 50% of the total quoted amount is required. The remaining balance must be cleared at least one week before departure if paid by card or settled in cash upon arrival before the safari begins.

Accepted Payment Methods:
  • Bank Transfer – Bank details will be provided upon request.
  • PesaPal Link – A secure online payment option.

💡 Note: We accept USD only for all payments. Clients are responsible for any applicable transaction fees.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. However, cancellations may attract penalties based on the timing of the request:

  • 45 days or more before departure – No cancellation fees. Full refund issued.
  • 44 – 30 days before departure – 20% of the total amount will be charged.
  • 29 – 14 days before departure – 50% of the total amount will be charged.
  • 13 – 0 days before departure – 100% of the total amount will be charged (no refund).

💡 Important: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 30 working days.

3. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

The 3Ps Tour and Travel is not liable for any cancellations, changes, or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as but not limited to:

  • Acts of war or insurrection
  • Terrorism or political unrest
  • Labour disputes or strikes
  • Government laws or regulations
  • Epidemics, pandemics, or other health crises
  • Natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Our goal is to make your safari experience as seamless and memorable as possible. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

4. Safari Vehicles & Game Drives

We provide two types of safari vehicles to ensure comfort and an immersive wildlife experience:

  • 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser – Best for off-road experiences, high ground clearance, and a pop-up roof for excellent wildlife viewing.
  • Tour Van – Budget-friendly, comfortable, and equipped with a pop-up roof for game viewing.

💡 Important: Vehicles are assigned based on your booking preference. We strive to ensure proper maintenance and comfort, but due to the nature of safari terrains, minor mechanical issues may occasionally arise. Our team will work swiftly to resolve them with minimal disruption to your safari.

5. Drinking Water Policy

We provide unlimited drinking water during game drives to keep you hydrated. However, please note:

  • Some accommodations do not include bottled water in their full-board rates.
  • If your itinerary mentions “drinking water included,” this refers to the water we provide during game drives, not at lodges or camps.
6. Law & Jurisdiction

All our safaris and travel services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.

💡 Note: Clients must comply with local laws, visa regulations, and entry requirements of the respective East African countries visited during their safari.

7. Issues & Complaints Resolution

At The 3Ps Tour and Travel, we take pride in delivering high-quality services. However, if you experience any dissatisfaction or service issues, we kindly request that you:

  • Report the issue immediately to your Tour Manager or Consultant in writing via Guest Relations email or WhatsApp for on-site attention and immediate resolution.
  • If the matter remains unresolved, submit a formal complaint in writing within 30 days of your safari’s completion for necessary action.
  • Complaints requiring compensation or refunds will be investigated and addressed within 30 working days.
  • Genuine compensations or settlements, if required, will be processed within 30 working days of receiving the official complaint.

💡 Important: Complaints raised after the safari has ended without prior notice to our team shall not be considered.

8. Insurance
We have partnered with AMREF to offer insurance coverage to our clients at a rate of $20 per person. This insurance covers emergency transportation in case of a medical emergency while on safari. Depending on the distance and severity of the situation, a ground ambulance or medical evacuation flight will be dispatched to your location within the park.
